Euthanasia
Euthanasia is the killing of intentionally at his or her benefit. Euthanasia dates back as far as the beginning of civilization itself from religious purposes to mercy killings. Some sources describe how people with terminal illnesses who usually agree and want Euthanasia, only want it because of depressive issues coinciding with their end date. Only a couple states have the actual legal law of assisted suicidal physicians Euthanasia’s consequence’s in most states are considered to be equally penalized as a homicide case. Euthanasia should be a legal option for people that are terminally ill and have a poor state of living.
Euthanasia is a very natural way I would say because it is a suffering state that no living thing can handle mainly through terminally ill. Stories like Kate Cheney was an 85 years old and was dieing from terminal cancer. She got denied and just ended it herself with pills in a nursing home. It’s more of a asking yourself the question of “How would you approach a terminal illness in suffering?” I would say it would be easier in a hospital environment as well. Having the assisted suicide law in Oregon legal has really spiked a difference in the majority of terminal ill patients. Most people would choose the lethal injection route.
The laws for Euthanasia are very strict and enforcing in the United States and most countries. Statistics show that the majority of US patients would choose the lethal approach. Instead we have people ending their own lives at home. People are flying to other countries
where it’s legal to just die in peace without the suffering. These are described in some cases in Europe. Most have the religious view to outlawing a mercy killing.
Less than half the population of religious groups agreed with euthanasia. They have the thought of god being the only life taker and how mercy killing is just morally wrong and sinful. If it is a terminal illness, people would pray and show respects to god and eventually live in acceptance upon the arrival of that person’s death. God is the life giver and life taker. This is wrong since its all after the fact of the pain and suffering till they die.
There are 2 kinds of Euthanasia. One is active euthanasia which is subjecting a lethal injection or intake of the prescription to end one’s life. Passive euthanasia is the second kind which is halting any active treatments or life support machines to bring upon a person’s death. Both voluntary suicides I would say but barbaric in others eyes.
Many people believe that euthanasia is a crime and inhumane. They say it makes doctors not actually being there to help you but to kill you.
