                                                            Euthanasia

Euthanasia is the killing of intentionally at his or her benefit. Euthanasia dates back as far as the beginning of civilization itself from religious purposes to mercy killings. Some sources describe how people with terminal illnesses who usually agree and want Euthanasia, only want it because of depressive issues coinciding with their end date. Only a couple states have the actual legal law of assisted suicidal physicians Euthanasia’s consequence’s in most states are considered to be equally penalized as a homicide case. Euthanasia should be a legal option for people that are terminally ill and have a poor state of living.
Euthanasia is a very natural way I would say because it is a suffering state that no living thing can handle mainly through terminally ill. Stories like Kate Cheney was an 85 years old and was dieing from terminal cancer. She got denied and just ended it herself with pills in a nursing home. It’s more of a asking yourself the question of “How would you approach a terminal illness in suffering?” I would say it would be easier in a hospital environment as well. Having the assisted suicide law in Oregon legal has really spiked a difference in the majority of terminal ill patients. Most people would choose the lethal injection route.

The laws for Euthanasia are very strict and enforcing in the United States and most countries. Statistics show that the majority of US patients would choose the lethal approach. Instead we have people ending their own lives at home. People are flying to other countries
where it’s legal to just die in peace without the suffering. These are described in some cases in Europe. Most have the religious view to outlawing a mercy killing.
Less than half the population of religious groups agreed with euthanasia. They have the thought of god being the only life taker and how mercy killing is just morally wrong and sinful. If it is a terminal illness, people would pray and show respects to god and eventually live in acceptance upon the arrival of that person’s death. God is the life giver and life taker. This is wrong since its all after the fact of the pain and suffering till they die.
There are 2 kinds of Euthanasia. One is active euthanasia which is subjecting a lethal injection or intake of the prescription to end one’s life. Passive euthanasia is the second kind which is halting any active treatments or life support machines to bring upon a person’s death. Both voluntary suicides I would say but barbaric in others eyes.
Many people believe that euthanasia is a crime and inhumane. They say it makes doctors not actually being there to help you but to kill you.

Euthanasia, allowed or not allowed?

·         Euthanasia as a way of relieving ill people's pain and save them from the tortures of their illness. Do we have the right to take people's life, if after all life is the greatest charisma?

Final descriptive essay

                                                            Who is helping you?

I was starting high school at the age of 14. I was scared of starting a new period of education with new people, different schedules, and more responsibility. It was a new world to me with more opportunity in goal achieving. High School was not looking too good.
Andress High School, located on the North-East side of town in El Paso, Texas was where it begun. Having confidence in me for a new year was expected but this year was different. The credit requirement had seemed to intimidate my confidence to be delayed till further notice. I didn’t believe I could complete the required amount of 75 credits in four years. It seemed to be impossible at the time.
I was the kind of kid that had a problem with home assigned work. I would always wait till last minute and most of the time, not even get anything done. Procrastination would take effect from the assigned date to the actual last date due. The 90 minute block classes really seemed to be much knowing the average attention span of a kid my age was around 50 minutes or so.
I took the basic courses such as Algebra 1, U.S. History, Earth Science, and English 9. History and English were my strong points besides the struggles in Math and Science. I never have enjoyed school but maintained the idea that it’s a necessity.
I was exposed to the group of kids that smoked pot. I would hang out before class and get high and go through the day like that. It started to become the thing to do when you were bored or just hated school. I was influenced into skipping school, getting into fights, and drug use. It created the biggest downward incline in my life and seemed impossible to overcome. My mom started finding out I smoked and began to give up and seek other help for me such as medication. She thought everything could be controlled with medication. That only sent me downhill even more.
My grandparents knew how my situation with my family and school was going and wanted to seek help. My grandma was more of a mother to me than my mom was. My grandma always knew what was wrong even when I wouldn’t say anything. My mom would try to support me but her drunken habits always seemed to get in the way. My mother would always try to tell me my Grandparents were no good for me and were trying to brainwash me. I didn’t know who to believe at this time. I needed to get out of there. A new environment and support was needed for me to succeed.
Rock Point School in Burlington, Vermont was selected desperately in hope to save my high school education. It’s a school that strives for not only academic success but also a family like caring community. I had to repeat my freshman year on account of not participating back in Texas which made me actually see my mistakes from the recent year. It appeared to be a very strict straight forward private school but in the end turned out to set my ass straight on the school idea. I basically learned all over again on how to study and be responsible for homework assignments.
Having spent 2 years at Rock Point School really helped me tremendously in my study skills most of all, enabling me to do well back in public school. Organizing assignments and limiting the procrastination in my school work was emerging surprisingly with my self confidence again.
My grandparents have always been my guardian angels since the day I was born. They would lecture me and just give constant advice whether I liked it or not. They were both school teachers and new a lot about what my position was and how to solve it. They love me and wanted me to continue elsewhere to prove myself and aquire more opportunities.
Tiverton High School was my third destination in my goal to graduate. The school occupied less than 600 students which helped me with less of a distraction in the smaller classes. My grandparents were there to support me emotionally and actually be there if any help was needed in any subject. If my grandparents haven’t been there for me this whole time then I have no idea where I would be today honestly. I probably would have dropped out and quite which was one of my biggest bad habits. I was able to continue the last two years of high school in Tiverton, Rhode Island.
Having someone in your life to care for you this much is truly desirable for everyone when their young but not everyone has it. The support by family or loved ones is really mandatory in my opinion to grow up in the world and succeed. Without this kind of act in someone’s life it would be extremely hard to make it day by day and you would basically be left to fend for yourself. Having experiencing both half’s I’ve came to this conclusion.

personal essay

I'm having trouble deciding what to write about. I kind of want to write something thats going on presently besides in the past. I just think that the present would help me describe feeling more!
